What Can I Expect After Microchanneling Treatment?
After your microchanneling treatment, it is normal to experience mild redness and dryness. The degree of redness may vary depending on your skin’s natural response to the treatment. You may also notice mild swelling and a tight, warm sensation, similar to a mild sunburn, which can last anywhere from 4 to 24 hours.
In the days following the treatment, mild skin sloughing or flaking may occur as the skin begins to renew itself. This is a normal part of the healing process as your skin sheds dead cells and reveals fresh, rejuvenated skin underneath.
These effects are temporary and should subside within a few days. The results will become more noticeable as the collagen production and skin rejuvenation continue over the following weeks.
It is recommended to receive a series of at least 3 treatments, but you may require as many as 6 treatments for best results.
